They haven’t been able to adequately staff their IT teams without using contractors/consultants since 1983. It’s not about to change. Yes it’s low margin compared to software products, but plenty of people making good money out of it. DTL as an example and of course Geoff Lord’s previous company UXC which was a ragbag collection of providers but still did well.
