Considering the big focus on China why release it to apple when majority of customers in China use Android being over 3/4 according to statcounter.

Also $20 p/m is actually quite expensive for someone in China with the median wage being less than 25k USD p.a. and that is in the two most populous regions if you go further out it drops to ~17k or less.
Unless it is is more expensive for Australia and they make it cheaper in China but again they would need to launch it on Android in order get the majority of the population.
