I don't think the company could have gotten around the need for a prospectus. The shares issued from the last raise can't be traded without a valid prospectus (because the company is suspended), and because the last prospectus was only valid for 90 days, a new one needed to be prepared and released.

I agree the words around the Bei Mei JV were encouraging. Hemp has barely been mentioned by the company for many months. I thought it might have been scuttled by the new China export regs, but the prospectus suggests the hiatus had more to do with the COVID restrictions.

Anyway, just three days remaining!
