I think GMP standards will be very important, as they will be a factor in import approval to Australia (and other countries).
If they are selling directly in Thailand, it might not be a big issue.
Of course, we dont know if they are GMP certified or not, but if they arent and they need to, im sure they can do it.

It is crazy how fast the market has moved and grown in Thailand. It does seem a bit unregulated, if you can go into any convenience store and purchase edibles etc.
I dont see that happening here, there will be specialized licensed stores for sure.
