The new CEO knows LVT because he worked there previously. I dont know for how long but he stated it somewhere in articles previously.
He also was director of seriously large segments of Microsoft for a prolonged period. Not a one year wonder - then moving on.
He wouldnt have lasted at Microsoft if he couldnt manage, implement and if he didnt have the personal qualities of insite, foresight and a deep understanding of products and their interoperability. In addition - he will be able to think with his brain, not just his emotions (which is a trait of many managers/politicians/company types who skip from position to position up the corporate ladder without any real achievements).
I think thats a good start. You have to know many aspects of business and you must have been involved and be able to know the cause and effect of various actions. Not just a guesser of a good idea - like leftish thinking types.
