I think you ignore the opinions of insiders at your own peril, even when you qualify that with the context that people who have left are almost by definition unhappy.
Some of the recurring themes from the reviews, all of which are red flags:
- outrageous spending (not news to anyone who's read their financials)
- incompetent management who don't understand software or product development
- major issues with the quality of the product and engineering
- unhappy sales staff apparently being screwed out of their commissions
