The Edencrete was used for paving on the bridge. it serves no structural purpose. The chloride penetration tests are meaningless. The amount of Edencrete needed per bridge is negligible. It was just the usual EDE fluff to impress gullible shareholders.
Too good a performance for GDOT, already a EC customer, to refuse?
I think you will find new GDOT orders dried up after Don Grantham retired 2.5 years ago.
