Not quite what actually happened in 2018 daz. In fact this quote is from their announcement regarding completion of recruitment into the 009 trial dated 27 July 2017. As you can clearly see they were telling everybody that preliminary results were due late 2017. They then went quiet on it for almost another year, ultimately blaming delays on scheduling at a third party lab. Preliminary results didn't come out until 28 Sept 2018. Thats 14 months after they made this statement.
