Sure, I agree... Fred is, as with most of his companies a 'collective' term for the company itself.
I'm sure the tech very good, it's taken a very long time, well over 10 years with, seemingly, no competition.
It's being nearly ready for years, so 'Fred' has no real alternative but to keep sticking money in, IMO.
There is similar tech in hearing aids, and they are getting very good... but not for most other things...I think the iphone sound layout/system hasn't changed for 10 years
I hope the 'other things' need AKP as much as we think. Iphone 15,16, or likely 17 wont have it, they would be already be thought out and the re-engineering will take quite some time, at least that is what I am told.
I dont think they are looking over their shoulder and I am sure orders will flow....when is the question
