    No one in their right mind would plow cash into manufacturing/ packing processing of a product that was not going to be game changer and widely accepted.

    Foolish assumption to make. The very success of the chip depends on whether it can be manufactured or not. Hence why there is no up to spec demo unit. They are simply taking a very expensive punt. Far from the first time this has happened.
