I'd agree with your point on the success of the chip is completely binary in terms of the outcome irrespective of cash inputs.

What I am more pushing at is the perceived level of investment from EM or whoever is funding them in addition their advancements in production capacity ie why add capacity if it's not going to be required.

i dont doubt FB could keep plowing cash at this indefinitely if he wanted to. Its more EM setting up and expanding production they must have a level of confidence.

Never the less until a commercial production unit is is revealed to the world the discussion is academic.
