Bob it says "wafers" from the 8" facility. Not packaged "chips". And it says "wafers/chips" from the 6" facility and not just " chips". So further delays may be possible in getting the long awaited demo.

To me there appears to have been some issue with getting production out of the 6" fab (priority) early on. Hence, in part at least, the decision to proceed with the 8" wafers at alternative fabs. Also, since the scope for the 6" fab has been reduced, the priority of completing the order has likely also reduced. Hence the continual delays. Pure speculation on my part of course, but possible. Pushing the date back a month each month doesn't seem likely to be caused by normal production complexities. Someone is messing with the schedule. Remember that EM do not own the fabs themselves and hence they are at the mercy of outside influences.
