Japan and USA did not close the import, EVE stopped selling to Japan because freight was to expensive! The Sales Director was in Japan for months launching the product! during the Pandemic! Then arrived back in Australia and EVE strategically withdrew from Japan! The management should have known that launching a new product especially food would be hard. Especially when you have not succeeded in you home market! EVE has sold off everything. and will not survive without cash injection! EVE must get other sales avenues, only using Amazon and own website for sales is not enough. Without a major chain store/retailer stocking there products, EVE will not survive and doomed to fail! the overheads and salaries are far to high and now when everything else that had a value has been sold or about to be! I don't think that is achievable, unless a cashed up producer or retailer invest and refocuses, like what happened to Darrel Lea chocolates. Darrel Lea is now a very successful business, after new owners started selling in most Supermarkets and other retailers! Selling direct from Website or Amazon, only work if you have other revenue streams, especially for premium food products!
