The conclusion I came to was that XMEMS envisions MEMS speakers (beyond headphones) as the future for audio, as has AKP for the longest time. XMEMS are definitely developing something louder. The videos revealed that is the goal, so they are working on it for sure with ultrasonics as the basis. They talk about the same devices AKP is targeting. But as we know that journey can be long and with many hurdles, so for now they have a lot of catching up to do. But they, and likely others, will get there one day. In the meantime, AKP will be the first (for speakers), so I feel positive about AKP as a medium-term investment. But obviously we need to do the big reveal without any more delay.
