But it isn't why other companies haven't decide to use Painchek, they aren't entering a drug market. It's a very low risk device (virtually don't even need to demonstrate safety but just efficacy and benefit outweigh risk which is very low). The assessors still need to know how to perform 5 out of those 6 manual assessment which was why I never thought DTC direct to consumers was never an option for Painchek as the product isn't totally objective.
