yes there is a contract for $80+ (if you say so) but you only earn that if you get dispatched, and that is what bidding into the market is all about. Sounds like they need to get their shit together when it comes to bidding. The AER was taking on the radio this morning in response to the 60% drop in the wholesale price of electricity. That's based on bids for dispatch whereas 80% of RE is under contract or hedging
