I know it can be seen as pedantic but it has constantly irked me the way this company presents scientific data.
For a company claiming to be at the very edge of a particular area of science one would think that they could conform to the standard forms of scientific expression and presentation.
I won’t start here today about their ability to present data graphically.
These documents will be read, hopefully, by leading pharmaceutical authorities and companies.
Just a couple of simple examples today -
(1) “at an infusion rate of 30 minutes”
30 mins is not a rate it is a time period.
What they mean is “over an infusion time of 30 minutes”; and
“at a faster infusion rate of 15 minutes“
What they mean is “at a faster infusion rate over a 15 minute period”
and
(2) “resulted in over a >99% reduction“
When it should be either “resulted in over a 99% reduction” or “resulted in a >99% reduction”.
They really should employ a scientist to write their scientific reports.
