Not sure I understand your question. The only point I was making is that the skills and capabilities needed taking a drug through bench research /biology /chemistry are very different to those needed to get clinical trials moving which is when the rubber really hits the road . You need to get some serious gas behind patient trials , working closely with hospitals and oncologists. Oncology in particular is very competitive , crowded , and these experts are inundated with trials from big Pharma with new innovative drugs so they can afford to be choosy . so you got to stand out from the crowd.
