Interesting, my observation after reading comments above from posters there appears to be a surprising amount of understanding and agreement on what is happening at AKP. I say surprising because on first read the quarterly report appears to be a modified re run of the last three years?
Read the detail however and I dont believe that many have picked up on what I read as the most significant paragraph which includes "during the same period, the company in coordination with a number of potential customers has also been working on porting our code to specific customer device processors and operating environments as well as applying considerable efforts to enhance our demonstration systems, customers engineering sample platform including SDK's and design references to best rapid customer integration of our products".
To me this suggests some customers will be able to plug and play in their own devices just as soon as AKP has the tested Gen II chips available for commercial supply rather than relying on demo boards to listen to the tech and then figuring out how these MEMS speakers might be used and integrated into their respective end user devices. This will also allow the earlier adopters of this new speaker technology to be designed into new models before the actual MEMS is commercially available. This is a big call by these first movers into new speaker tech and to me sends an extremely positive signal that the AKP MEMS finish line is in fact very close and commercialisation and sale of the MEMS speaker may be recorded as soon as the latter part of Q1-24.
I also concur with posts above suggesting another very positive signal would be when EM gain approval for remittance of their subscription capital for the new AKP shares. Yes an easy gain for EM but if it happens good luck to them as they certainly appear to have played a critical role in the later phases of the development of the MEMS and at this time are an integral part of the AKP supply chain.
