Sure, but they could have put that money into something else and made money. So why would they put it in PER if they were not very confident about the end results that would grow their money?
You seem to run hot and cold, one day you are all positive and the next you are back to crying in your soup.
Maybe the banks are more your style - at least until the next financial meltdown.
