I think you’re right. Until I know why the mystery investor paid almost double to provide just a few months of funding, I’m inclined to sit on the sidelines. If, like me, you’re of the opinion that $1m won’t be enough, then perhaps the mystery investor will be invited to fund a more significant amount at a discount to the current share price, with or without free options attaching, thus coming out in front overall. That is the more probable scenario that could play out in my view, but hoping for all those invested there is an amazing announcement around the corner that sees 3DP shoot the lights out.
