BIT036 was never intended or used on C19. It was a much earlier compound based on cinnamoylguanidine that was used in the first Sars1 trials that lead to the initial patent for treating coronaviruses. My post of 01/04/2020 was based on that patent. True, I could have used BIT225 as that is what the earlier drug has drawfed into, but I preferred to stick to the earlier patent, after all, my argument for success now was primarily based on the success of preventing ion channeling in SAR1 using the earlier compound. I also mentioned in that post that today's success would occur from 'one of its derivatives' referring to the evolution of the earlier compound.
