Whilst i agree with your sentiment, we should be cognisant that the presenters of the quarterly results (CEO/CFO) are not on the board and highly likely that they need this ownership distraction like a hole in their heads.

There is no doubt these takeover offers distract them and their (small) team from progressing the pipeline of work.

Who knows, perhaps this latest distraction is the real reason for the delay in PH energisation...
