Issue with the NSW grid last couple of days, a number of coal units offline, limited or nil transmission between NSW<>QLD and NSW<>VIC and low solar and Wind generation saw spot prices hitting $16,600 per MW/h for portions of the day today and yesterday.
Jemalong made around $460,000 today due to this issue, mainly in the morning and afternoon peaks
