Will be interesting come time to vote. Dont think there is alot of enthusiasm for this TO. By the time July comes around there will be about 6 months before the hydro is completed and the money from Energy Australia starts to come in. BBP is making some good cash aswell as the other wind/solar projects.

Before voting one must calculate the approx MC of Genex with expected revenue from these projects.

Im no mathematical genius but its worth more than 27 cents.

One must also factor the potential for dividends in a few years.

After watching that webinar yesterday feel the vibe that Genex board arent overly excited by this proposal. Seems to be with any TO the board will recommend it if it is a premium to the SP.

My impression is that the company is still focused on Bulli Creek and the future.

JPower dont have enough votes if the majority of shareholders hit the NO button.

I got that vibe too, from the presentation I mean.

I think people some times forget that there's a time and a price (relative to the share price) at which the board has to recommend a scheme/takeover to the shareholders whether they agree with it or not.

Would not be surprised if some of the board of directors vote no. And, I'll be very surprised if a large amount of shareholders vote yes.

Seems to me anyone one with foresight can see what they are missing out on if the takeover goes ahead. No brainer.

However, I won't be missing the vote and making my vote count just in case.

Make sure you vote! And vote NO!
