All my investing bar 17k shares is via my self managed super fund.
So I have been less than transparent with my wife, which really did tear me up inside.
There's no way she'd have countenanced me chasing the falling knife all the way until it hit the floor.
I'd hate to think what would have happened if I passed away when we were at 26 cents!
She'd likely have cursed my name, liquidated the shares and been left with about $300k less than today!
