Bowen has cancelled carbon capture and storage projects and replaced them with carbon reducing processes within the companies - no brainer there given the hopeless farce carbon capture and storage has been ...why dont you tell us all how many millions have been wasted by successive governments backing this CCS dillusion ... In comparison it really makes rfx's capital needs look like small change . So your first point is to show us a policy that was having a negative effect on carbon reduction by causing inaction and a buisness as usual approach, being replaced by a positive one. Not to mention its supported across the board with the exception of the far right coal digging planet haters at the AFR and other associates. Imo the political reality is that Independents /Teal / Green votes are coming for both libs/nats and Alp .....and that is setting up a situation where a ' battery's made in qld ' policy being defeated is completely nuts - it would guarantee the government to being a 1 term wonder aka Campbel Newman ..just how big did he loose. Happy to be corrected , if you actually have evidence of a policy change and or political support for that idea... But the reality, as we have seen through , successive governments changing in SA and NSW, once the penny drops and plans are made governments get on with it. Yes there are issues in NSW with planning renewables ...but its hardly been walking backwards. Hating jobs making renewables in Australia - sounds like a real vote winner that one
