Ok - so your solution is to no longer use lime or cement and build infrastructure out of what? Hemp? That's like sticking your head into a bucket of wet cement.
Australia tech (the best in the world) directly captures all the Co2 for a via path to decarbonisation. In fact, if you use CCS, the lime and cement actually becomes carbon negative as to CaO re-cabonates over time (in buildings/infrastructure for cement ... or in red mud tailings for say alumina manufacture). The reason the WA Adbri facility will go ahead is because the EU has a brain and is supporting. Germany is even chucking more the Aus Govt into the SA project that will use the CO2 for methanol (proving the solar to methanol process). CCS would be better - but at least this is a better use than venting.
It's a pity so few voters understand this. Rather than cheering for soundbites from your favourite side, suggest you try to educate yourself.
