My take on the results is that if DRO's current customer base is majority U.S firms and for now it is to follow a similar trend to last year, then as per the below sales revenue we can see that 80% or so of their sales come from H2. Using that as a basis for the HY24 results, I would be expecting our annual sales to be approx $120m which is still an incredible result vs FY23 IFF eventually actualised.
What a lot of people have done here is use the next quarters results after a massive growth in the SP to base their decisions on, and when it's not billions of dollars in revenue on a newly established company that they potentially know nothing about (Jumped onto it because of the hype) they sell. I could not believe the volume of negative comments from a lot of new and some existing shareholders flooded the gates when we had our first true decline in SP since the rise. I want to back to the time before that when everyone was celebrating the success and growth of this company from it's early stages instead of completely shooting it down to encourage the share price lower. People forget that it takes time to build inventory. People forget that it takes time to secure contracts. People forget it takes time to build and scale a company into truly something significant.
I'd rather wait for huge contracts to be signed that take till toward the end of the year to deliver than to a million small contracts to firms that may have a high chance of not becoming returning/subscription buyers? The buyers of these products aren't your average joes. They are global scale entities that, if we get it right, will deliver insane amounts of long term business. We are still in the growth phase - expanding our warehouse facilities/staff, building up inventory, having cash on hand for the next sale or expansion opportunity. All exciting stuff that over time will yield great results I'm sure. I'm a long term holder and hope to be able to ride this into dividend territory when it eventually produces one a few years down the track. There is too much to love about this company. Admittedly the price rose to fast and too vertically to be sustained but do believe that once we've lost all the short sellers and people that made a heavy loss due to the incredible hype, we'll start to build long term sustainable growth. I hope that when the time comes we are still in the running to move into the ASX300/200 as I'm sure a lot of firms will be eager to begin building their positions (apart from the fact that they have to).
That's enough of my rant but hopefully it gives people a reason to believe in the company and to become a part of the success story.
