I think prices will end up stabilizing around A$150-A$200 retail for premium EUGMP quality Aussie buds before long. Cheaper imports A$80-$120 for 28/30g.
I didnt know they were selling at a loss but with the new products and capacity (& offtakes) coming online in 2025, they have a pretty good chance of making it work. I can see demand increasing for the next 5 years but it is going to become very competitive as more third world countries ramp up Quality. AU Quality Import Controls will be crucial to "help" protect the industry.
Most of the Pacific Nations are going to Cannabis in a big way as well. They will probably get aussie taxpayer subsidies?
Most people are happy to pay a little more for Australian Product that meets the highest standards along the way.
