Many of their peers in the sector at least regularly post to social media like LinkedIn to show what they're doing, elevating their profile, getting out there. This outfit has no LI page, no postings, no profile. Seriously what do they do day to day?

I would like to know exactly what Biotron has done in relation to Zika and Dengue other than just mention it on their out-of-date web site. The COVID trial doesn't even rate a mention on the Clinical programs page on the website. Your idea of a management spill might be this company's only hope of survival, but I doubt there is enough money in the trough - and hence time - to achieve this. BIT225 might well have a future albeit in the hands of another organisation.
