I could be wrong but I think what the 98% means is that they have a 98% chance of a statistically significant result.
this is different to 98% chance of success.
given however the consistency of all results so far, if you presume that consistency remains then u marry that with the statistical significance and you get a positive P3 result at the end of the trial.
