I tend to think of companies like CHM a little like mining exploration companies
If a mining / resource company drill and prove up a valuable resource ...then the NPV of that resource ( allowing to capital costs and operational costs to actually extract the stuff ) can far far exceed the value of the company .
Hence occasionally we see ...albeit not so much lately ...a stock skyrocket on a viable discovery
My gut feeling is that CHM are "proving up " something very similar ...but in a line of medical IP ....that could be worth far far more than the current market cap of the enterprise .
Of course its gunna take $$bucks to get there ....and getting those bucks is another matter . ( unless those potential providers of $$bucks are "hot " on what CHM's IP could be valued at .
CHM may well have to raise at a discount to fund that last stage of "proving up "
