It's great they have decided to be transparent over this, it may be required however as there is a lot of the share price attributed to ongoing Optus negotiations. It's also great they have put down their BAFO. But let's be honest, the reality is Norwood are desperate and everyone knows this. Optus know they can close this down for now and go back later if they change their mind. Let's also not forget how little Norwood have put into R&D, Optus will not pay overs because they know they could simply develop the tech themselves, there is no moat as Bottle has reminded us of with the patent info.

I also wonder if the solution Optus are looking at is some sort of competitive tender. You've researched companies that have similar tech, maybe Norwood is bidding against them?

Whatever the case we do know Optus aren't in a rush and aren't going to be throwing cash out desperate for whatever Norwood have. You'd really want an announcement on this in the next couple of months.
