Well, Tassie, GDY went BIG, I have to give them that. They bought two drilling rigs each worth $30m, drilled some VERY big holes, and somewhere in the desert there's a barely used power station...

Poor GDY - I can still remember the hole blowing up the day before the minister's visit. There were deficiencies in the concrete pour (voids), corrosive reactions between the water and the steel, lost drill strings, non-level strata, and so, and so on. It was a grand plan, but so much easier and cheaper today to cover the desert with solar panels and batteries. Which brings us back to the flow battery.

I could just ring the uni lecturer. But having found no progress by Allegro in years, I think it's a no go.
