This wasn't the 4C I was hoping for, but at the same time, I don't think the sky is falling and it's not the end of the world.
With 2 or 3 quarters up our sleeve, now is the time Unith needs to push interFace out and we need a major turn around in the December quarter. I was hoping we could get an update on how many have signed up to interFace, and how many of those have upgraded to a paying subscription. This 4C just restated what we already know, which is news from a while ago.
It concerns me that this sort of detail wasn't published, as this was the time to do that, plus an update of these sort of numbers for the first month of this quarter could've been thrown into this announcement.
Anyway, we all knew (or should've known), that this 4C wasn't going to contain much to get excited about. interFace had only been on general release for a week before this quarter ended.
I know this is the common call for people following micro caps when a 4C is released, but it really is now looking forward to the next one. Being predominately subscription based, it's not like we're going to see any major ASX announcements of new customers signing up, as a subscription signing isn't considered material. Hopefully we can get some updates of subscription numbers and numbers of those that have upgraded to paid subscriptions from time to time, but given the ASX rules of what is deemed material, it may be challenging to get those sort of announcements out before the next 4C.
If we can get a good conversion to paying subscribers, if we can get a thousand or two of those, we should be getting close to cash flow +ve.
I agree with some of those who look on the positive side. We're really only getting started. Unlike other companies in this situation, we have zero debt. We have a legacy income, that while not big enough to finance the business on it's own, it certainly is helping keep the lights on as interFace ramps up.
Just need to be have a little patience.
