Trump Whitehouse should be positive for Pointerra from a MAGA infrastructure POV.
I'd hazard a guess that US Oil and Gas isn't where most of revenue is currently earned. That would be the Power Utilities. But yeah, Oil and Gas is an emerging vertical that should, as IO has said, outperform in terms of coming off a small base and growing into something more substantial as they apply learnings from the Utilities sector.
There's lots going on. As always, we wait to see the revenue land. Hard to tell if anything has landed from Point 3. As others have said, it's obviously a slow burn.
1.October: During the quarter the Company finalised a pre-implementation cyber review with another major Oil & Gas operator seeking to implement Pointerra3D to support data management and analysis for their exploration activities throughout Australasia. Contract award is expected during FY25
2.July: During the quarter, Pointerra continued to progress the pivotal role of Pointerra3D in a data capture program for a Tier 1 oil and gas company’s multi-billion USD green field project due for completion in 2026
3.April: The Company currently has multiple engagements within the Oil & Gas sector in Australasia. One of these projects is part of an EPC program in a major capital project and involves Pointerra3D Core being used to manage, access and distribute photogrammetry and point cloud digital twin data. The project also involves the use of Pointerra3D Analytics for change detection to support the quality control aspects of the capital works program, comparing as-built data to as-designed plans.
The Company’s growth plans for the EMEA region have generated significant traction during Q3, with material opportunities being developed in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sectors through Pointerra’s new channel partner agreements. The Company expects initial revenue flows to commence during the middle of calendar 2024 from opportunities in these regions...
