I expected this quarter for 3DP to be solid (with continued improvement to come over the coming quarters), and this is exactly what we received from a financial viewpoint
Cash receipts were solid at just over $3.0m - which is a good result considering the low receivables number at 30 June 2024 in the recent annual report.
Cash expenses were a bit higher than expected, and so I will take a better look at them later - but this can sometimes be a "timing issue" with some larger annual / upfront payments
@ I1I1I1 - Pointerra claim & receive R & D expenses every year, and they have always been listed in the exact same position within the Quarterly Report.
So they have just followed the ASX rules in reporting the R & D, and then putting N/A in item 8.5.
Plus, even excluding the R & D rebate (which you can't 100% dismiss as it is always received by 3DP), I am not sure where you got 2 x Qtrs of funding left ??? - as it is around 3.5 Qtrs of funding if we completely exclude the R & D rebate.
Regarding the commentary, I will again have a better read later, but it sounds like there is an awful lot happening in each sector - and it also sounds like there will be some sales announcements in the near future.
This should set the business up nicely - especially when combined with the recent assistance to FPL with the 2 x Hurricanes, and with the contract with the US Department of Energy (which should then land 3DP a heap of additional work going forward)
Overall, a nice solid start to the year - which IMO sets Pointerra up nicely for a vastly improved 2024 / 2025
