For anybody who could not make the Coffe Microcaps webinar, worth waiting for Mark Tobin to upload the webinar.Ian used slides from the last 4c, but provided far greater depth of insight than any previous webinar.
Another big nugget. Entergy alive and well. Awaiting data capture. So we have Program approval and we are still positioned as partner. Worth remembering that even if we use the lower end of fee for pole assessment (US$ 20 per pole, which translates to AUD 30 per pole) and conservatively moderate the number of poles from 4 million to 3 million, this yields a Revenue number of AUD 90 million over ten years. So an average of AUD 7.5 m a year over 10 years. In terms of materiality, this equates to approx. the same as the Revenue reported for the entire FY24.
Reference to the detail behind the Q1 performance confirms material progress acros the non- Utility verticals and they are having much greater success on home ground. All very encouraging news highlighting the fact that the Q1 numbers were not a flash in the pan. Did not mention the actual Receivables carry into Q2, but did mention they did not collect all that was due 30 September. He mentioned we can look forward to a strong Q2.
DOE review scheduled for early December and still on track to be completed by the end of March. Only a 100 miles per participating Utility. Data collection complete, so nice chunk of Revenue this FY. Hoping to be declared as DeFacto standard for Utilities.
Pumped about Brian Mayfield joining Pointerra and the advantages this will bring. Aligning with 'Change Agents' to break the restrictions of Resources / People touted by Utilities as a show staller. Mindset change. Let Pointerrra improve assessment efficiency and save you money. Analysis has shown that a US$ 5 m spend with Pointerra can save a Utility up to US$ 100m. That's the Value proposition.
Need to go back and listen , but think I heard more of the Surveying & Mapping customers are deploying Pointerra Analytics directly with their customers. Remember something whereby this grouping can improve their margins in what's otherwise described as a cut-throat business.
That's it from me for now. Need to run, but I urge anybody who is scathing of Pointerra's recent past, have a good listen for yourself.
