There is no moral obligation to abide too, a 100% case of ‘carpe emptor’, let the buyer be aware, as per putting any faith in in its company projections.
Where does it fall apart?, ….. despite large tracts of cheap shares and options it can be a means to an end if the Company can successfully sell itself at higher levels, gain sp traction and with that the resultant positive market sentiment.
That the Company has to give these entities that ‘influence’ over the sp is something they would have been well aware of, these entities are not Mum and dad RIs who will hold long term but entities that hedge their holdings to make profits and get free carried if they were to hang around, that is their business model.
Company has failed up to date in gaining sp traction, sell itself at sufficiently higher levels and with that the associated overhang of a negative market sentiment.
With the upcoming IPO, when ever this is to happen, ….. it can fork out in two possible ways; sp done at a discount to the current levels or at a decent premium to the current level.
At a discount it would be a poor outcome, …. at a premium it would be a great outcome and show the Company had enough leverage to have accomplished that outcome, imagine the positivity if it were to list at $10 US dollars, be a huge accomplishment.
Imo, not advice.
