None of the "green" alternatives offset their construction footprint, and they all miss by a large amount, it's a scam. Nuclear costs a lot initially but once built can last over 40 years, new concepts to use waste r out there too, look at our Aussie company SLX. Natural gas is a good fill in but not the answer, the NWS off WA is declining rapidly and the process of LNG is very high in energy use. Nuclear is the best option for the environment by far
