If they have a private funder lined up, then they presumably won't sell their CR shares on market as happens in a traditional CR with oppies.
So the SP may not be impacted by the CR.
The thing that typically tanks the SP to CR level is when they offer shares plus free oppies.
The people then immediately sell the shares on market to instantly recover their CR investment and keep the free oppies.
