Seems like you don’t know much so I’ll throw the question back to you - Why do you think they wouldn’t? I think they would for the same reason they took an huge chunk of the company in the first place - Especially if shares are dirt cheap. They could bring the software in house and pocket the fees from their members themselves minus the huge company costs.
It’s a distinct possibility as me and others have pointed out.
