"Sonic walked for a reason ..." And my understanding is that Proteomics walked away from Sonic. We don't know why Sonic sat on the product and didn't try to sell it. The story (propaganda maybe) is that PIQ didn't try to light a fire under them because they decided it would be more profitable to pull it back in-house.
That said, I really would have liked to hear news that they had sold some tests between the West Australian launch and end of quarter, even if it was just single digit number of sales.
