Catalyst could be as simple as the old 'cash is king' syndrome. Until they consistently make more than they spend there won't be much interest. On that note, all the indicators are heading in the right direction, and the business has been set up for success.
The market never lies though and the continued decline speaks volumes to the concerns it has.
Not sure if anyone will buy them out - I recall most (>85%?) of the SOI are held by owners and institutions who would have invested at ~multiple X's of the current SP so won't be interested in a deal. And that is why I remain keenly invested. It will only take a smidgen of interest (based on positive business performance) for Myeco to multiple bag overnight due to the low availability of trading shares provided the owners don't pack it up.
Obviously if they don't deliver, we're stuck in a value trap, my first investment into these guys was at 25c, aaargh, like you the general fundamentals and the 'good story' coupled with their ability to keep going without CR's and fund their operations, with their expansion plans, keep me averaging down. To that end would be cautious until we start seeing signs of change. However if they do - hold on tight and enjoy, with the very low SOI, the result might be fabulous.
I'm betting on the latter, although am keeping MCO to a max 1% of my portfolio for now.
