Fintech bubble burst a long time ago. The 'i have a fintech that will disrupt global electronic payments' is a thing of the past - its commoditised. In other words, regardless of their success, the valuation attributed to 'fintech' as a standalone product/ service is basically nothing/zero.
For arguments sake, let's assume5 0% of the Philippines gets on this app. This is assuming every local bank, local vc, local fintech will allow two WA muppets to eat their lunch. Do some analysis and give me an intrinsic value for the stock. And now add 100% premium just for shits and giggles. What is the valuation? How does that compare to global peers who are already doing this all over emerging markets?
How much rev? How does that flow down to EPS and ofc to market cap?
The pumpers here can tell you all the positivity of getting in on the ground floor of a 'new' fintech solution (laughable) but they wont put any valuation work behind it because they know 1) its nonsense 2) this is a pump and dump stock
The most vocal on the positive side are praying for someone to save their sunk investment. Hopefully you don't become exit liquidity.
TBF , @conrad11 is totally right. Are you a tech solution or a bank ? Two very different businesses. The former is a challenge. The latter a disaster and pure destruction of shareholder value.
