Have you considered that those statements may have been made based on deals that were in the pipeline at the time of making the statement and then subsequently they failed to perform to the requisite standard and hence the milestones were missed?
I'm not saying that the performance of the company is ok by any stretch. They have missed many milestones and come up well short of expectations that they've set through forward looking statements. I think that is why in more recent times they have not been making such forward looking statements as doing so and missing the mark is damaging to their credibility.
