Well said @kellectric . Plus, your research is good quality, informative and very useful I find.

I was at a ZOOM AGM yesterday and listening to the CEO's report, it was interesting to hear that this company's management are taking a similar tack as LPD. Firstly, not chasing offtake agreements for the sake of it, rather, taking their time in order to get the very best deal and a price at which is reflected in the future expected level they believe it will be when the squeeze really hits the market. Secondly, they have engaged with the USA's Govt Dept(s)., [DOD, DOE, & DFC] for funds for their US project, as this is timewise, a long protracted affair, they have sourced other avenues of funds to keep their development momentum moving forward.

Both of these companies, LPD and the other, have strong and experienced operational management team members coming from many years of experience with much larger organisations. The latter recently acquired one of RIO's Chief Financial Officers to drive their plans for further funding as needed in the future.

LPD, obviously will accrete more senior staff as the construction of their facilities in Namibia and Abu Dhabi progresses. As the recent quarterly points out these projects are permitted and ready to go. The rights issue provided funds to be available as the bills flow in, the independent engineer is appointed to run the ruler over Karibib. The price of lithium is on the rise and is quickly becoming noticeable to the general public.(see:https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-07-29/australian-miners-powering-global-electrification/100318108),

    • " ... quick demand growth in 2017/18 but it was probably more expectation than actual vehicle sales numbers," Mr Bairstow told The Business." " ... prices peaked at more than $US21,000 ($28,583) a tonne for lithium carbonate in April 2017, ... prices bottomed to a low of about $US7,950 in December last year.
    • But a price recovery is now well underway. "We're still sort of $US11,000, $US12,000 a tonne now," Mr Bairstow said."

This is a good timeto have an interest in this material/chemical whatever form or process stageone may find to provide a return. Australian companies in this sector arelooking to enter the 'refining' aspect of the spodumene to Li3CO2 and LiOH. Inthis LPD was one of the first movers, other such as Placer Resources andOrocobre are moving to do the same.
(This is notfinancial advice, it is merely informative and indicative of companyprogression)

    Cheers NPJ
