Can't remember precisely but BHP had bought in for 20c a share around that time I think (had a 5% holding). Someone else with a better memory can fill in the details of the APG timeline...
Also of course there were a LOT LESS shares!
It didn't stay up there very long, even though I was dreaming of the $1 party - so I got a bit lucky
I would have been much luckier if I had sold them all at that time which unfortunately I didn't - refer to "$1 party dream" - I loved my APG shares and to this day my kids still occasionally torment me with the question "So how are those APG shares going Dad? "
