Ascent Capital is run by Gary Steinepreis with his brother David, a consultant. Patrick Burke is an Associate Director while James Allchurch spent six years working at Ascent. The aim of Ascent is to:
“pursue the reconstruction and recapitalisation of existing listed companies, assist in the establishment of new businesses and the listing of new companies on recognised stock exchanges…”. The legal firm who did early work to re-float Bronson Group (renamed Mandrake Resources) was Steinepreis Paganin, whose executive chairman is Roger Steinepreis, brother of Gary and David. Peter Wall, a partner of Steinepreis Paganin was the last chairman of Bronson group before it was deregistered in July 2018. Ben Phillips was a fellow director.
The Lead Manager, Ironside Capital Pty Ltd was issued with 45m to 50m options exercisable at $0.03 on 14/07/2022 for services provided in the initial capital raise to re-float Bronson/Mandrake. Ben Phillips was working at Ironside capital.
